VISUAL CHANGES
COMBAT REVOLVED changes many of the visuals to be different from the original. It changes not only the colours of enemies, textures of weapons, and the Heads Up Display but also a full visual and atmospheric overhaul in each level.
From the level HALO now taking place at sunrise, bathed in a comfy orange glow, with heavier foliage and tree cover, to the Forerunner interiors having red emergency lighting when the outbreak occurs, there’s a lot to see purely on the visuals alone!
BALANCING CHANGES
From the player now being able to handle fall damage much better, enemies having more variety in ranks and weapon usage and handling, and ally marines having more health and better accuracy, COMBAT REVOLVED makes an old classic familiar but new and challenging at the same time.
COMBAT REVOLVED makes a variety of changes to balancing and difficulty, To the player, enemies, and even allies. Whether that’s new enemy types, ranks, or just tweaked values.

NIGHT WORLD
Night World is the culmination of years of testing, and tweaking to get the perfect-looking night environment in Halo Reach. The lighting was mainly based on the mission Nightfall, including re-baked lightmaps, regenerated instance imposters, new cubemaps, new sound, and a fully custom Halo Infinite-inspired Skybox that shows the Halo ring stretching up to the stars, one side in the sunlight, book-ended by long stretches of orange.
SILENT WORLD
A nexus place of all things spooky, supernatural, and irregular, Silent World is a fractured variant of Forge World devoid of wind, life and sky. Dead trees, calm waters, and dying grass await you... and perhaps something else.
SNOW WORLD (+NIGHT)
Snow World makes a cold and crisp return after 3 years on ice, now featuring dynamic weather, custom bitmaps, models and more! Forge World’s ocean has now been replaced with a thick sheet of ice, and an even thicker blanket of snow. Plus a nighttime variant which imitates a real winter's night.
